ThunderPSU for Sega Saturn. Similar to the Dreamcast one but for the Saturn.

Premium quality plug-and-play, universal, professionally made internal Saturn power supply.

Features are:

• Universal input, so it can tolerate any input voltage automatically.
• Professionally designed, no datasheet copy-paste circuits. Using premium quality parts and best engineering design approaches.
• Very low noise, less than 10mV p-p at full load inside console (not an outside resistive load).
• Low heat generation, way much better thermals than all other solutions.
• Plug-and-play, so no soldering, modding, cutting, or anything.
• Industrial rated, certified and safe power module used which guarantees utmost safety and performance.
• High power, rated for 30 watts which is a lot more than original PSU which is more than enough for any mods you can think of.
• Remote power on and off capability, first ever in the market.
• Works on all Saturn versions, even the notorious VA0.
• Physical input replaceable fuse to ensure everything is protected, even the PSU itself. It has other layers of protection as well.
• Uses solid polymer capacitors and no electrolytics. Only highly rated Japanese capacitors on the output of main rails, with main 5v rail having a modern GPU-level Panasonic capacitor.

It is expected to be available before the end of 2026 (hopefully). Price will be 65$ but may reach 75$ depending on circumstances, 65$ is the goal and until now it appears to be doable.

It will include a wiring harness and a 3D printed part for installing it. A comprehensive guide will be available to aid in installation.
