Rechargeable battery board

This is a small 2×1 cm mod board to replace CR2032/ML2032 or any other 3v-3.3v battery by a new rechargeable LiPo battery. Mainly developed for Dreamcast and Saturn for time keeping and saves circuits, but it is intended to be universal for any system. The old battery must be completely removed.

This is the official successor to the advanced controller board for the Dreamcast as it is easier and cheaper while doing the required task.

Main features:

– Very easy to install, just 5 solder wires, and no cuts required. Can fit into any console.

– Slow charge and physical fuse along with short circuit protection to ensure no harm can be done.

– Charges the battery to 4.05v only, instead of the typical full 4.2v. This multiplies battery life and safety.

Installation guide will be added later, with a full video tutorial. However, it is very simple as it only has 5 pads as follows:

5v and GND: to be connected to a local power source from the console, 5v only.

B+ and B-: the new battery positive and negative terminals.

OUT: this is the output of this board which is to be connected to the positive terminal of the old battery after removing the old battery.
